Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing Paige Capo

Q: Why should I choose a Paige Capo?
A: So many award winning guitarists and world class studio musicians prefer The Paige Capo over every other because…

  • It’s ultra thin and discreet.
  • The controllable tension feature with precision adjustment allows the perfect amount of pressure to be achieved between the capo and your instrument. This feature also eliminates dreaded string buzz and muting because it pulls directly from the center instead of the side.
  • The Paige Capo moves quickly and easily. It also stores readily behind the nut of the instrument when not in use.
  • Above all, these features combined create an impressive capo, made to keep you in tune.

Q: Will a Paige Capo harm my instrument’s finish?
A: No. All Paige Capos are made with finish safe tubing. Any instrument however, should not be left for an extended period of time with any capo still attached to the neck.

Q: Are replacement parts available?
A: Yes! Replacement sleeves and repair are available! Here's a link to buy replacement sleeves (HERE)

Q: Does the Paige Capo come in any other finish/color?
A: No. All Paige Capo models have a classic design available in black finish PLUS we carry many models, bound to suit all your playing!

Q: Can I order a Paige Capo with a specific radius?
A: No. We carry many models with various radius options. If you do not see an option for the radius you need in the Original models, chances are The Clik Capo will fit the bill.

Q: Where can I purchase a Paige Capo?
A: The Paige Capo is available worldwide! See our ’Where to Buy’ page to find a dealer or distributor nearest you.

Q: Where can I find a Paige Capo in my area?
A: Because we deal almost exclusively with Domestic and International Distributors, there is no way of knowing what stores carry our products. We have listed a few reputable online stores that carry Paige Capos on our ’Where to Buy’ page. Or you can contact a distributor near you to find the closest dealer or online store.

Q: How do I know which model I need?
A: The Paige Capo comes in an array of models to accommodate so many stringed instruments; you may find it difficult to choose the model that’s right for you.

  • The key to choosing the right model is in the width.
  • Determine how far up the neck you want to capo, and then measure the width of your instrument at that point.
  • You do not want a wider capo than needed because this adds unnecessary bulk.

****IMPORTANT: If you choose The Clik Capo, make sure that you order a radiused model if your instrument has a radiuses fret board (radiuses model numbers end with an R).****
